Professional website diagnostic

Audit up to 100 website pages

Start a private report that evaluates 31 page-level signals, discovers robots and sitemap URLs, and compares internal pages for site-wide SEO problems.

Fair-use limit: One free audit per visitor every 24 hours. Public HTTP/HTTPS pages only. Private reports expire automatically after 30 days. Automated or repeated attempts to bypass this limit are not permitted.

Downloads included: when the audit finishes, use Download CSV or Print / Save PDF in the report toolbar.

How to use the free SEO audit

  1. Enter your website. Submit its public address using the form above. Keep the page open while the report is built.
  2. Review the evidence. Start with failed and warning checks, then review site-wide patterns and the affected pages. Check each recommendation against the purpose of your page.
  3. Save and prioritize. Download CSV or use Print / Save PDF. Choose a manageable set of fixes, record what you change, and compare a later audit when your allowance is available.

What does the SEO audit check?

01

Technical

HTTPS, response status, canonicals, indexing, language, character encoding, icons, and structured-data validity.

02

On-page & Content

Titles, descriptions, headings, visible copy, internal and external links, image alternatives, and media dimensions.

03

Social & Security

Open Graph and X cards, mixed content, HSTS, CSP, MIME-sniffing protection, and referrer policy.

04

Performance & Plan

Response time, HTML weight, caching, lazy-loading signals, measured page data, and prioritized actions.

Understand the limits of an automated audit

The report is a snapshot of the checks and pages the crawler could inspect, not a complete assessment of your business or a prediction of Google rankings. Fewer than 100 pages may be scanned because of discovery, robots exclusions, or scan limits.

Missing third-party performance data means that measurement was unavailable, not that performance passed or failed. Keyword demand, backlinks, search traffic, and conversions cannot be inferred from the audit score.

Review recommendations before changing your website. The tool identifies findings; it does not automatically edit pages or fix issues.

Free SEO audit questions

Clear scope and realistic expectations matter before any work begins.

Is the SEO audit free, and do I need an account?

The public tool allows one free audit per visitor every 24 hours, without an account, email address, or payment card. It checks up to 100 public pages within its scan limits.

Can I save a completed audit to an account?

Yes. After an anonymous audit is ready, choose Create free account and save report, or sign in if you already have an account. Complete the account step in the same browser. SEOPlan adds the report and website to your dashboard without scanning again, then retires the anonymous access link.

Can I download or delete my report?

Use Download CSV or Print / Save PDF in the completed report. Private report links expire after 30 days, and the report toolbar includes a delete option. Anyone you share the access link with may be able to view the report, so keep it private.

Does a high SEO score mean my website will rank well?

No. The score summarizes the automated checks in this report. Rankings also depend on relevance, competition, content quality, and other factors that the score does not measure.

Does this include keyword research or AI analysis?

The free audit provides technical and on-page findings. AI SEO Analyst and SEO Market Opportunity are separate paid-plan tools, subject to their allowances. They are not included in this free report.

What should I do after the audit?

Verify the most important findings, make a focused change, and check it again. For ongoing work, compare the paid plans for saved workflows, AI analysis, keyword research, and monitoring where included.

Turn an audit into ongoing SEO work

Use the free tool for an initial check. Compare paid plans when you need ongoing analysis, keyword research, and organized follow-up. Features and allowances vary by plan; paid access is currently available by early-access request.

Built with safer defaults

Visitor-controlled URLs are treated as untrusted input

The crawler accepts public webpages only, observes robots exclusions, keeps discovery on the submitted domain, and limits page count, response size, redirects, and duration. Private reports use unguessable access links, expire after 30 days, and can be deleted immediately.

  • Private, local, reserved, and test-network destinations blocked
  • Same-domain discovery with robots.txt exclusions respected
  • 100-page budget, automatic expiration, and report deletion controls
